Privacy

Information about you: how we use it and with whom we share it and why we process it.

The information you provide when making your COVID-19 test booking (name, email, student matriculation number and, if you opt to do so, phone number and address), will be used by the University to process your booking for the Queen Margaret testing centre. It will also allow staff to administer your attendance at the test centre.

The information you provide when making your booking will be shared only with staff administrating the Queen Margaret University testing centre.  Staff will only be able to see the contact details you provide when making your booking.

We will hold the personal data you provide to make your booking for three months following your use of the booking service.

We are using information about you because it is in the University's legitimate interests to facilitate self-elective testing as part of UK wide public health efforts to combat SARS-CoV2-19 pandemic, and we are providing a booking system to allow you to book a test slot at the Queen Margaret University test centre.

Your rights

If you are unhappy with the way we have processed your personal data you have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), but we ask that you please raise the issue with our Data Protection Officer first.
